With the project, KLIPTOWN BEEHIVE DIGITAL FILM CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT Prince Massingham, Neo Monyamane and Mocke J van Veuren have brought together elements of their separate practices toward the development and delivery of an animation programme, which is to be run from September to November in Kliptown and Eldorado Park. The programme will start with children from the ages of 6 to 12, and then another group of young adults from 13 to 21.
The AHSCE project enabled time for the team to explore and experiment with the development of a film and arts curriculum as part of the activities of the Beehive Collective; this has taken the form of research and consolidation of methodologies.
